This beautiful sparkling blue pedal is the limited Special Edition of the Stormy Monday that we decided to call "Fat Mod": it's a variation of the original circuit with added body and low end dirt. In fact, it's kind of the "Director's Cut" Stormy Monday: it's the version that I meant to release as the standard one until the last minute, we even took it with us to the 2017 NAMM Show and Pedais & Efeitos Experience 2016 in Recife!

Then, when was time to start making it, I decided to mod it to a tighter drive, with more midrange and less low end "fuzz" and oomph. I had the impressions that the guitar players were confused by that thicker low end and were expecting a more mid focused tone, with tighter lows, from an overdrive pedal.

This "Fat Mod" special edition brings back that meaty low end drive that I opted to leave out from the Stormy Monday in 2017. This version is usually favored by the most experienced players, that like to have that extra dirt to interact with their playing.

It also sounds great on bass!
